Main Frame Assembly:

• Flex points pins, bushings for wear, damage

• Folding points pins, bushings for wear, damage

• Vacuum blower not damaged, blades clean, bolts tight

• Vacuum blower motor not leaking 

• Vacuum blower HYD hoses not damaged, secured

• Vacuum main line, plastic tube/metal frame not damaged, leaking, secured, clean inside

• Vacuum row hoses not damaged, routed correctly, secured 

• Vacuum mounting brackets not damaged, secured

• Marker cylinders not leaking

• Marker HYD hoses not leaking or damaged

• Marker pivot pins for wear

• Markers disc blades for wear, bolts tight

• Row unit “U” bolts not broken, nuts tight, row width correct

• Grease/lubricate per operators manual 

Frame Lift Assembly: 

• Inspect welds/structural members for cracks

• Pivot pins and bushings for wear

• Wheel bearing tight and greased

• Tires for damage, correct pressure, lug nuts torqued

• Lift cylinder not leaking, not damaged

• Lift cylinders HYD hoses not leaking and secure

• Lift cylinders pivot pins for wear

• Grease/lubricate per operators manual

Drives: 

• Main drive tire not damaged, correct pressure

• Contact drive tire not damaged, correct pressure

• Contact Drive Chains for wear, not rusty

• Sprockets for wear & alignment

• Idlers for wear, not damaged, correct tension & alignment 

• Grease/lubricate per operators manual

Transmissions: 

• Shafts not bent or damaged

• Bearings run smoothly

• Chains not rusty

• Sprockets not damaged/worn teeth

• Shear pins not damaged & extra replacements 

• Grease/lubricate per operators manual 

Main Hex Shaft: 

• Shaft not bent or damaged 

• Shaft section locking collars tight

• Bearings run smoothly

• Sprockets not damaged

• Hex shaft flex drive gear boxes not damaged & operational check

• Hex shaft wing flex drives for wear, not damaged

• Row clutches not damaged, clean, service and operational check

• Grease/lubricate per operators manual 

Wiring Harnesses:

• Fold/unfold control box for damage

• Fold/unfold harness for damage, secure as needed

• Fold/unfold HYD manifold, inspect solenoid valves, not leaking, operational check

• Seeding harness inspect for damage to outer sheathing, secure as needed

• Smart connector, inspect for damage, secure as needed, perform operational check

• Swath control harnesses, inspect for damage, secure as needed

• Hydraulic drive control harnesses, inspect for damage, secure as needed

• Power tractor harness from battery to hitch, inspect for damage

• Power harness to PDM, inspect connectors for damage, corrosion on pins, sockets

• CAN harness to PDM, inspect connectors for damage, corrosion on pins, sockets

• Apex power harnesses from PDM to backbones, inspect for damage, secure as needed

• Backbone harnesses, inspect for damage, corrosion on pins, sockets, secure as needed

• CAN harness to PDM, inspect connectors for damage, corrosion on pins, sockets 

• PDM, mounting secure, no damage 

• Alternator, mounting secure, no damage

• Alternator electrical harness, no damage, connectors tight 

• Perform an operational check of all systems 

Sensors/Switches 

• Radar sensor for damage, clean, operation check

• Seed Tube sensors for damage, clean, operation check

• Shaft Rotation Sensors for damage, operation check

• Wheel sped 

• Rotary Height Switch not damaged/operational check

Transport System

• Safety latches inspect operation check & adjust

• Lug nuts/bolts and spindle bolts torqued
